I read this story when I was an elementary school student, so many people also may have known this story. however, I don't know last paragraph.

The Gingerbread Man
In this story, the gingerbread man was made by a little old woman and a little old man who have no children. This thing made them sad, so they made the gingerbread man as their child. However, when they finished making gingerbread man, he ran out of house. A little old woman and a little old man ran after him to catch, but to do so, not only them but also animals and people who met him and thought wanted to eat him. However, no one caught him, but when he came to the river, he didn't cross there because he was a gingerbread man. Then fox helped him, but he was eaten by fox."Run, run, as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm the gingerbread man!"
I don't know why gingerbread man ran out of house and escaped everyone to want to catch him. If he didn't do so, He might not be eaten by fox. So I interested in this point. In addition, I thought we don't have to believe anyone who don't know well. We may be doubted him. The last in this story is little surprising, but this story, as the whole, is funny.
