Sightseeing in Kyushu

          I am going to tell about sightseeing in Kyushu. Kyushu has eight prefectures: Kumamoto, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Oita, Saga and Okinawa. Each of these prefectures has many sightseeing spots. Now, i will introduce three prefectures' sightseeing spots, in kumamoto, Nagasaki and Oita.

          First, I will tell about Kumamoto. Kumamoto has many sightseeing places, for example, Kumamoto castle, Tsujunkyo, Mt. Aso, Kurokawa hot spring, Amakusa, and so on. Now, I will explain about Kumamoto castle. Kumamoto castle may be the most famous sightseeing spot in Kumamoto. It was made by Kato Kiyomasa about 400 years ago. Mushagaeshi is his good idea and achievement. It is curved, so no one can invade Kumamoto castle. Now, there are some ninja who called omotenashi busyotai. They are very famous and
popular. So we can enjoy Kumamoto castle as sightseeing.
          Next, I will tell about Nagasaki. Nagasaki also has many sightseeing spots, for example, Huis Ten Bosch, Dejima, Peace Park, Glover Garden, Mt. Inasa perk and so on. Now, I will explain about Huis Ten Bosch. Huis Ten Bosch is theme park in Sasebo. It reproduces streets, houses and buildings in Netherlands, so there are many things


imaging Dutch such as windmills and tulips garden. In addition, it holds seasonable events, in particular illumination in winter is famous. We can feel we are in Netherlands if we are in Huis Ten Bosch, so we can enjoy in it.
          Last, I will tell about Oita. Oita also has many sightseeing spots, for example, hot spring, Umitamago, Mt. Takasaki Natural Park, American Safari Park, and so on. Now, I will explain about Hot spring in Oita. Oita has many hot spring, which is called onsen in Japanese. There are hot springs dotting all around Oita, so there are many hot spring town. Especially, Beppu and Yufuin are very famous. In Beppu, there are mainly eight hot springs and they are called Beppu eight hot springs. These have many kinds of hot springs such as leisure type, open-air hot spring type and traditional therapeutic bath type. Therefore, we can enjoy many kinds of hot spring in Oita.
          As mention above, there are many kinds of sightseeing places and unique ones in Kyushu. Every one prefecture, there are many different sightseeing spots. So if you come in Kyushu, you can go and see them and enjoy it.

Sightseeing in Oita

          Oita has many sightseeing spots, which is hot spring, Umitamago, Mt. Takasaki Natural Park and so on. Now, I will introduce about these three sightseeing places.
          First, I will tell about hot spring. Oita has many hot springs, and Beppu and Yufuin are very famous. In particular, eight hot springs in Beppu are called Beppu eight hot springs. There are many hot spring such as leisure type, open-air hot spring type and traditional therapeutic bath type. So we can enjoy many kinds of hot springs.
          Next, I will tell about Umitamago. It is the aquarium. There has touching area, so we can touch with asteroids and sharks. In addition, there is marine animals show. Among them, a walrus exercise to strengthen his abdominal muscles is the most popular show.
          Last, I will tell about Mt. Takasaki Natural Park. There are many wild Japanese monkey, and we can see them up close. Living wild Japanese monkey there is more than 1000. If it is the time to be fed, they come to eat bait, so the scene is overwhelming.

Sightseeing in Nagasaki

          Nagasaki has many sightseeing places, Huis Ten Bosch, Dejima, Peace Park, Glover Garden, inasayama park and so on. So, I will talk about Huis Ten Bosch, Dejima and Peace Park.

          Last, I will introduce about Peace Park. There are two main spots. one is Peace Statue, and the other is the fountain of peace. Both of them and the park were made with a wish to the world peace. We can learn about tragic war.
          As mention above, Nagazaki has special sightseeing spot, and there are many other sightseeing places.

Sightseeing in Kumamoto

          There are many sightseeing places in Kumamoto, for example, Kumamoto castle, tsujunkyo, Mt. Aso, Kurokawa hot spring and so on.
          First, I will introduce Kumamoto castle. I think Kumamoto castle is most popular and most famous sightseeing place. Kumamoto castle was made by Kato kiyomasa about 400 years ago. Food in Kyushu

          Kyushu is one of the islands consisted Japan. Kyushu has eight prefectures, Kumamoto, Fukuoka and so on. Each of these has their own food and drinks. Now, I will introduce three foods in Kyushu.
          First, foods in Kumamoto are basashi, tomato, watermelon, ikinaridango and so on. Now, I will introduce ikinaridango. It is dango wrapping anko and sweet potato. Only dango tastes salty, but ikinaridango tastes very sweet.
          Next, foods in Miyazaki are mando, hyuganatsu, chicken nanban and so on. Then, I will introduce chicken nanban. It is popular and famous in Japan now. however, it is originated in Miyazaki. It is fried chicken and serve with tartar sauce. It tastes very good.
          Last, foods in Fukuoka are chikuzenni, tonkotsu ramen, motsunabe, mentaiko and so on. Then, I will introduce mentaiko. Mentaiko is saled roe of pollock. Specially, karashi mentaiko is famous in Fukuoka. It tastes spicy but good to eat with rice. I recommend this way to eat mentaiko.
          As mention above, there are unique foods in Kyushu, and there are also many unique and their own foods and drinks except above in Kyushu. If you come to Kyushu, you can find many their own foods.
